Facilitating Access to Justice in South Sudan

In two years, the selected applicant is expected to improve access to justice so that rural and marginalized citizens from up to ten states can access justice services that provide legal remedies to their problems.

This will be achieved through educational awareness activities, legal aid services,

capacity building and guidance for sub-recipient civil society organizations (CSOs), law enforcement actors, and customary law actors, the development of a law and policy package on legal aid, and research.

The project will also support implementation of the recent Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (ARCSS) through capacity-building of legal institutions and actors.
