for cross-border law enforcement cooperation.

For example, activities may include training, mentoring, and possibly the provision of non-lethal equipment for park rangers, police, prosecutors, other relevant officials and, where applicable, non-governmental and civil society entities to address the multi-faceted dimensions of poaching and wildlife trafficking.

To support further progress in sub-Saharan Africa, the U. S. Department of State has allocated $5,000,00 0. 00 in FY 2016 International Narcotics Control and Law Enforcement (INCLE) Funds to strengthen capacity in Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, or Zambia to combat wildlife trafficking.
