The project proposes to bridge the gap between media and other anti-trafficking stakeholders in order to strengthen the overall global fight to combat human trafficking by focusing on the legal and human rights issues involved; the treatment of the victims, their privacy and welfare; and how to tell
the story with humanity and style to help audiences understand better what must be done.Expected results include:· Enabling public visibility and awareness through sensible coverage, including social media.· Combating misinformation/disinformation through increased vigilance, collaboration, research, and data collection.· Responsible advertising in print, electronic, and online platforms.· Strategic media engagement through survivor voices.· Strengthening alliances with other anti-TIP stakeholders.
