Technology training to aid business development and economic inclusion of women entrepreneurs

Through this funding opportunity and based on funding availability, PAS Mumbai is seeking applications for technology training to aid business development and economic inclusion of women entrepreneurs.

This project will support community leaders working with non-profit organizations in western

credit: Razoo


India and women founders of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in western India who receives trainings led by participating community leaders.

Project Objectives:
1. Train no fewer than 50 civil society community leaders in computer, digital, financial, ecommerce literacy and website design and development for business within 4 to 6 months.

2. Train no fewer than 250 micro and small women entrepreneurs in computer, digital, financial, ecommerce literacy and website design and development for business within 6 to 8 months.

3. Community leaders and women entrepreneurs work together to design and develop a basic website to showcase merchandise made by participants in 6 to 8 months.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
All types of domestic applicants are eligible to apply, except nonprofit organizations described in section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 that engaged in lobbying activities after December 31, 1995.

Federally-affiliated entities must adhere to the eligibility standards below: 1.

DOE/National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) National Laboratories DOE/NNSA National Laboratories are eligible to submit applications (either as a lead organization or as a team member in a multi-institutional team) under this FOA and may be proposed as subrecipients under another organization’s application.

If recommended for funding as a lead applicant, funding will be provided through the DOE Field-Work Proposal System.

If recommended for funding as a proposed subrecipient, the value of the proposed subaward will be removed from the prime applicant’s award and will be provided to the laboratory through the DOE Field-Work Proposal System.

No administrative provisions of this FOA will apply to the laboratory or any laboratory subcontractor.

Additional instructions for securing authorization from the cognizant Contracting Officer are found in Section VIII of this FOA.

Non-DOE/NNSA FFRDCs Non-DOE/NNSA FFRDCs are neither eligible to submit applications under this FOA nor to be proposed as subrecipients under another organization’s application.

Other Federal Agencies Other Federal Agencies are neither eligible to submit applications under this FOA nor to be proposed as subrecipients under another organization’s application.

Applications from for-profit organizations that propose research related to current commercial activity may be declined without merit review.

Applications that are submitted by applicants that have not submitted a required LOI may be declined without further review.
