The United States Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), intends to award a cooperative agreement of up to $8,000,000 to the International Labor Organization (ILO) to implement a technical assistance

credit:


project to support the prevention and reduction of child labor in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Government of Vietnam.

Authority:
DOL Manual Series (DLMS) 2-836 (G)(3):
Services are available from only one responsible source and no substitute will suffice; or the recipient has unique qualifications to perform the type of activity; and DLMS 2-836(G)(6B):
It is necessary to fund a recipient that has an established relationship with the agency in order to maintain a capability for investigative, technical, economic, or sociological research.
