Subject to the availability of funds, USDOL’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) intends to award, through a competitive process, one
credit:
cooperative agreement to an organization(s) to strengthen decent work in the fishing sector in South America by supporting actions to strengthen mechanisms to address labor violations associated with illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing; increasing agency taken by workers and civil society to address labor violations in the fishing sector in South America; and increasing capacity of worker organizations, local ports authorities, and private sector to address labor violations in the fishing sector.
The Employment and Training Administration (ETA)’s Office of Grants Management anticipates publishing a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) around August 13, 2021, and intends to make awards by December 31, 2021 (these dates are subject to change).

It only constitutes a notice of USDOL’s intent to publish an FOA at a later date.
