NOI-6 Global Capacity Building

This Notice of Intent (NOI) is not a request for funding applications.

Subject to the availability of funds, the U. S. Department of Labor (USDOL), Bureau of International Labor Affairs, will award a cooperative agreement for a multi-country technical assistance project(s) to increase national

credit: Team In Focus


and local capacity to address child labor, including the worst forms of child labor, and carry out labor inspectorate assessments to better inform monitoring and enforcement of worker rights.

The Office of Procurement Services anticipates publishing the Solicitation for Grant Applications (SGA) on or about 31 May 2013 (this date is subject to change).

This NOI does not include a SGA or any attachments.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Any commercial, international, educational, or non-profit organization(s), including any faith-based, community-based, or public international organization(s) capable of successfully building the capacity of local and national governments to reduce the worst forms of labor and carrying out assessments of the labor inspectorate is eligible to apply.

Lack of past experience with USDOL cooperative agreements, grants, or contracts does not bar eligibility.
