CULTURAL RESOURCE SUPPORT AT USAG FORT CARSON & PINON CANYON MANEUVER SITE The purpose of this project is to provide technical support to the Fort Carson’s cultural resources management program for the development of research designs for “needs data” archaeological sites.

Specifically,

the NFE will develop research designs for the evaluation of archaeological sites and draft a data recovery plan describing the necessary work to be completed at 24 National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligible archaeological sites in sufficient detail to support the mitigation of these sites in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA).
