Paraguay Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2024

AEIF provides alumni of U. S. government-sponsored and facilitated exchange projects with funding to expand on skills gained during their exchange experience to design and implement innovative solutions to global challenges facing their community.

Since its inception in 2011, AEIF has funded nearly


500 alumni led projects around the world through a competitive global competition.

This year, AEIF in Paraguay will support the United States’ commitment to democracy and anti corruption.

The U. S. Embassy in Paraguay will accept public service projects proposed and managed by teams of at least two (2) alumni that support the following themes:
Combating corruption through transparency and accountability Democracy, participation, and social inclusion Combating misinformation

Other Eligible Applicants include the following: Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian Serving Institutions; Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISISs); Eligible Agencies of the Federal Government; Faith-based or Community-based Organizations; Hispanic-serving Institutions; Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs); Indian/Native American Tribal Governments (Other than Federally Recognized); Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations); Regional Organizations; Tribally Controlled Colleges and Universities (TCCUs) ; U. S. Territory or Possession; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Organizations) are not eligible to apply Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U. S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.

Foreign components, as defined in the NIH Grants Policy Statement, are allowed.
