Natural Resource Condition Assessment for Cumberland Island and Cape Hatteras National Seashore Parks

The project objective is for the National Park Service (NPS) and Saint Mary's Univerisity of Minnesota (SMUMN) investigators to collaborate in conducting a Natural Resource Condition Assessment (NRCA) for Cumberland Island National Seashore (CUIS) and Cape Hatteras National Seashore (CAHA).



These NRCAs are focused on a subset of important park natural resources and resource management topics.

SMUMN and NPS will collaborate to evaluate and report on current conditions, critical data and knowledge gaps, and describe resource threats and stressors of concern.
