U.S. Embassy Seoul PAS Annual Program Statement

The U. S. Embassy Seoul Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U. S. Department of State is pleased to announce that funding is available through its Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program.

This is an Annual Program Statement, outlining our funding priorities, the strategic themes we focus on, and


the procedures for submitting requests for funding.

Please carefully follow all instructions.

Purpose of Small Grants:
PAS awards a limited number of grants to individuals, non-governmental organizations, think tanks, and academic institutions to support exchange between the U. S. and the Republic of Korea with the aim of improving mutual respect and understanding.

PAS will only consider grants that have an American component or aspect in their proposal.

The PAS Small Grants Program projects may include, but are not limited to:
Academic and professional lectures, seminars and speaker programs; Artistic and cultural workshops, joint performances and exhibitions; Cultural heritage conservation and preservation projects; Professional, and academic exchanges and projects; Professional development workshops and training.[AWARD INSTRUNMENTS ARE NOT JUST GRANT, BUT ALSO INCLUDES COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT AND FIXED AMOUNT AWARDS]
