FY 2013 Funding Opportunity Announcement for NGO Programs Benefiting Refugees in Ethiopia and Kenya

ETHIOPIA- Proposals must focus on one or more of the following:
Dollo Ado (Melkadida, Bokolmayo, and/or Buramino camps ONLY):
1) Health (reproductive health, maternal and child health/nutrition, mental health, psychosocial support, or assistance to persons living with disabilities); 2) Protection

credit:


(assistance to unaccompanied minors); or 3) Livelihoods (primary and/or vocational education/training that benefits both refugees and host nationals, and that for Somali refugees has a clear link to eventual voluntary return); Benishangul-Gumuz (Bambasi and/or Tongo camps ONLY):
Health (reproductive health, maternal and child health/nutrition, mental health, psychosocial support, or assistance to persons living with disabilities); Tigray (Shimelba, My?aini, and/or Adi Harush camps ONLY):
Livelihoods and/or vocational education/training that will help minimize onward migration; Jijiga:
Livelihoods (primary and/or vocational education/training that benefits bot h refugees and host nationals, and that for Somali refugees has a clear link to eventual voluntary return); or Gambella:
1) Protection (prevention and response to gender-based violence (GBV) and/or assistance to unaccompanied minors); or 2) Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene.

KENYA- Proposals must focus on one or more of the following:
1) Protection (prevention and response to GBV and/or assistance to unaccompanied minors); 2) Health (reproductive health, support and accessibility to adequate nutrition for children and/or pregnant/lactating women, and/or persons living with disabilities and/or elderly persons; health support to persons living with disabilities in Kakuma Camp only); 3) Livelihoods (primary and/or vocational education/training that benefits both refugees and host nationals, and that for Somali refugees has a clear link to eventual voluntary return); or 4) Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene.
