California Tahoe Conservancy

SYNOPSIS The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Notice of Intent for a grant agreement to California Tahoe Conservancy.

The purpose of this agreement will ultimately result in restoring this lowest reach of the river and the marsh through which

it flows by increasing the length of the channel and decreasing channel capacity to facilitate more frequent overbanking during high water events when the river is transporting large amounts of sediment.

Refer to Notice of Intent (NOI) to award announcement R13AS20034 for additional information.

A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM2, paragraph 2. 14(B)(4), is solely within the discretion of the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent (NOI) is NOT a request for competitive proposals.

The System of Award Management (SAM) applies to this Notice of Intent.

Information on SAM registration can be obtained via the Internet at www.sam.gov.
