Strengthening Media Initiative (SMI)

USAID/Georgia intends to award a cooperative agreement for the Strengthening Media Initiative (SMI) in order to improve the publicÂ’s access to independent, reliable and balanced information relevant to GeorgiaÂ’s good governance.

The SMI will support development of a more professionalized media


to serve as a trusted conduit of information between citizens and their governing structures.
