USAID/Georgia intends to award a cooperative agreement for the Strengthening Media Initiative (SMI) in order to improve the publicÂ’s access to independent, reliable and balanced information relevant to GeorgiaÂ’s good governance.
The SMI will support development of a more professionalized media

S. entities, such as private, non-profit organizations (or for-profit companies willing to forego profits), including private voluntary organizations, universities, research organizations, professional associations, and relevant special interest associations.
