Scaling-up and Maintaining Evidence-based Interventions to Maximize Impact on Cancer (SUMMIT)- Lung Cancer Screening (UG3/UH3 Clinical Trial Required)

Through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), the National Cancer Institute (NCI) intends to advance the science of scale-up and sustainment of lung cancer screening (LCS) for populations at high risk for lung cancer.

This NOFO will support studies that will identify the most effective implementation


strategies for scaling-up and sustaining the delivery of LCS across a range of clinical care settings and diverse populations at high risk for lung cancer.

This NOFO will use the UG3/UH3 phased cooperative agreement mechanism.

The UG3 phase will support preparatory activities for the scale-up and sustainment trial.

The UH3 phase will support the scale-up and sustainment trial.
