Research on the Epidemiology, Prevention and Control of Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses in India

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to support research to estimate the incidence of influenza and other respiratory viruses (such as SARS-CoV-2) among working-age adults and other priority populations in India to strengthen the evidence base and to help inform influenza vaccine


policy in India.

An additional goal is to identify risk factors that contribute to the influenza and/or SARS-CoV-2 burden in India to identify effective strategies to reduce disease burden.

The overarching goal is to identify potential barriers to influenza and/or SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in the priority populations.
