This announcement is to support the Women in Science (WiSci) is a public-private partnership that is designed to encourage adolescent girls to pursue further education and potential careers in the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Design and Mathematics) fields.
The primary purpose of the camp is to advance gender equality with regard to women'€™s presence and participation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
This is a particularly salient issue in Sub-Saharan Africa, which continues to lag behind when it comes to gender equality in education and health.
