APS - Grants for Khyber & FATA, U.S. Consulate General Peshawar

This Notice of Funding Opportunity solicits Statements of Interest that will support the public diplomacy priorities of the U. S. Consulate General in Peshawar.

Public Diplomacy Grants programs will expand opportunities for:
 increased services and governance;  critical thinking


in education;  entrepreneurship and women’s empowerment;  reporting capacity for journalists in KP and FATA; or  cultural and historical preservation to drive economic development and tourism.

Budgets should range from $5,000-$30,000 with a project duration of up to one year, to be implemented in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and/or the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Submissions are encouraged from U. S. and Pakistani registered not-for-profit, for-profit, civil society/non-governmental organizations, U. S. local and state governments, and educational institutions.

At least two years of programming experience is preferred.

Applicants are expected to document prior programming experience if selected under this funding opportunity, and a copy of the organization’s registration must accompany the proposal.
