Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Pakistan Support

The Regional English Language Office (RELO) of the U. S. Embassy in Islamabad seeks outstanding proposals for the Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Pakistan Support project to provide recruitment, selection, professional development, logistics, follow-on alumni activities, and other in-country

support for the Pakistan TEA U. S. Exchange program.

The awardee will select a minimum of 100 Pakistani high school English teachers, who teach in Government and Foundation schools, for activities that will take place from October 2022 through June 202 4. The awardee is not responsible for the actual Pakistan TEA U. S. Exchange activities, but for the in-Pakistan support of this exchange.

This grant and the complementary Pakistan TEA U. S. Exchange award will ensure a smooth exchange program to the United States for at least 100 teachers, with innovative follow-up activities upon their return.

The awardee of this grant will work closely with both RELO Pakistan and the Pakistan TEA U. S. Exchange grant awardee (to be identified at a later date by the RELO Office) to achieve the successful completion of the project.

This award will be contingent on funding availability.
