Fostering Democratic Discourse: Digital Creators Exchange Program

The U. S. Department of State’s U. S. Consulate General in Lahore announces an open competition for one assistance award through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), contingent on funding availability, through the Public Diplomacy Grants Program.

This project seeks to implement a 15-day


exchange program to the United States for at least 10 participants representing digital content creators, targeting youth audiences from Punjab Province, Pakistan.

The program will include recruitment and selection of participants, planning and execution of the exchange program in the United States, and implementation of a followon program in Pakistan where participants can share their experiences and knowledge with other digital creators and youth.

The follow-on project may be conducted together with a local implementing partner in Pakistan.

The following organizations are eligible to apply: • U.S.-Based Not-for-profit organizations • U.S.-Based Civil society/non-governmental organizations • U.S.-Based Think tanks • U.S.-Based Public and private educational institutions For-profit entities, even those that may fall into the categories listed above, are not eligible to apply for this NOFO.

Organizations may sub-contract with other entities, but only one, non-profit, non-governmental entity can be the prime recipient of the award.

When sub-contracting with other entities, the responsibilities of each entity must be clearly defined in the proposal
