Travel Facilitation

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U. S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan invites all eligible organizations (see Section IV for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for an assistance award to provide administrative services for PAS travel/exchange programs.

Public and private non-profit


organizations or consortia of eligible organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) may submit proposals to cooperate with the PAS in the administration and implementation of the following program components:
1) Supporting U. S. and internationally-based Subject Mater Experts (SME) visiting Afghanistan to participate in PAS programs, 2) Supporting U.S.-based and internationally-based Subject Mater Experts (SME) as they travel around Afghanistan to participate in PAS programing, and 3) Supporting Afghan program participants as they travel within Afghanistan and/or abroad, either to the U. S. or to other countries.

A successful proposal will demonstrate past performance providing exchange/travel facilitation services in Afghanistan, the United States, and other countries.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligibility is open to all U.S., Afghan, and international nonprofit with direct experience in travel facilitation and a proven track record of success implementing projects in Afghanistan.

Organizations must demonstrate current country registration license (when applicable), competent programmatic ability and be able to meet reporting requirements.

Non-Afghan organizations or companies are required to partner with an Afghan organization or company.
