Public Opinion Polling Project

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U. S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan invites all eligible organizations (see Section IV for Eligibility Requirements) to submit a proposal for conducting a minimum of two and up to three national public opinion surveys, for release to the Afghan public in order


to inform voters and candidates about key election issues in a timely manner.

A successful proposal will address all the elements listed below in the distinct activities in section III, Goals and Objectives.

It is critical that organizations applying for this award demonstrate that they have political pollsters with broadly recognized professional credentials and who possess sound insight into Afghan society, politics and culture and, in particular, that they have successfully designed, implemented and analyzed national polls and focus group interviews in Afghanistan in the past.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligibility is open to all organizations with a base in Afghanistan who have a proven record of successfully implementing national public opinion polls in Afghanistan or can demonstrate how they will partner with individuals or organizations who have done so.

Organizations must demonstrate a current country registration license (when applicable), competent programmatic ability and be able to meet reporting requirements.
