PAS Kabul invites all eligible organizations to submit a unique and innovative proposal for a grant to design and produce a mobile museum project aimed at raising awareness among students in schools and orphanages as well as general audiences at other venues, such as educational and/or cultural institutions,
and Lincoln Learning Centers (LLCs).
The award will cover the design, production, and implementation of a mobile outreach program for the National Museum of Afghanistan, offering presentations on Afghanistan’s history and cultural richness to a combination of the venues listed above.
U. S. Embassy Kabul is looking for a competent and experienced partner to develop and implement an outreach program aimed at raising awareness and improving students’ perceptions of Afghanistan’s cultural heritage.
A successful applicant should have 1) a proven record of previous experience with the National Museum of Afghanistan; 2) the capacity to design and develop innovative and engaging presentations on cultural heritage by subject matter experts; 3) the ability to reproduce and replicate artifacts for use in the presentations; and 4) the ability to implement the outreach project in at least 24 schools, two orphanages and four LLCs in as different regions of Afghanistan as possible, given security and infrastructure concerns.

Additional Information of Eligibility:Eligibility is open to all non-profit, non-governmental organizations.
Organizations may sub-contract with other entities, but only one, non-profit, non-governmental entity can be the prime recipient of the award.
For profit entities are not eligible to be the prime recipient of an award under this NOFO.
When sub-contracting with other entities, the responsibilities of each entity must be clearly defined in the proposal.
Per Section D, applicants must submit proof of their non-profit status with their proposal submission (e.g.
proof of 501(c)(3) status, Afghan NGO license).
Applications that do not include proof of non-profit status will not be considered.
Individuals are not eligible for an award under this NOFO.
