Strengthening Effective Counter Terrorist Financing Compliance

This funding opportunity seeks to bolster capacity building efforts to advance the effectiveness of AML/CFT systems technical compliance, and how it may be applied in practice for countries with the aspiration and commitment to strengthen their approach.

The primary objectives will be to:

relevant stakeholders to increase understanding of AML/CFT issues; design and implement the technical requirements of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF); develop an appropriate toolkit to disrupt terrorist financing and money laundering; and/or increase host-nation capacity to regulate and interdict the informal money sector.
