Staff Mentorship to the Somali National Army (SNA) HQ and SNA-Danab

The United States has supported SNA-Danab logistically and operationally for over a decade.

The SNA has come to rely heavily on the expertise of the SNA-Danab to lead and plan operations.

At the same time, the African Union Training Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) has begun the process of transitioning

credit:


its mission to the SNA.

This program will continue operational support to SNA-Danab while also adding strategic capacity to the SNA HQ staff.
