Ambassador’s Cup Soccer Tournament and Clinics 2015

The United States Embassy in Mexico City would like to partner with a Mexican organization to serve as an implementing partner for the Ambassador’s Cup 2015, a sports diplomacy program promoting youth and female empowerment and social inclusion, that will include a soccer tournament in the city of


Cuernavaca, Morelos as well as three clinics in three Mexican cities offered by 2 sports envoys (soccer coaches or former players).

Public and private non-profit organizations may submit proposals to be the implementing partner in Mexico, responsible for the logistics of, organizing, and conducting the Ambassador’s Cup tournament and clinics, as well as the three separate clinics which will be held in Mexico City, Cuernavaca and a third city to be determined.

Responsibilities include all logistical arrangements, such as travel and lodging, the transportation of teams and players, and the procurement of equipment and other items.
