Democratic Participation and Reform in Bangladesh (DPR)

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Bangladesh is issuing this Request for Applications (RFA) for a five-year Cooperative Agreement titled Democratic Participation and Reform (DPR) to support political party reform in Bangladesh.

The agreement will support significant


democratic parties in Bangladesh to be more inclusive, informed, and responsive to citizen interests and aspirations.

Applicants are invited to present innovative and feasible strategies for promoting political partiesÂ’ capacity to access and utilize information, attract and empower women and youth, and implement democratic reforms.

Strategies must include detailed action plans to achieve long-term results in political party reform through rank-and-file activities that enhance local-level participation and empowerment.
