This program assists current DBI initiatives in managing regional efforts to support dairy businesses in the development, production, marketing, and distribution of dairy products.

These initiatives specifically focus on:
a.Diversifying dairy product markets to reduce risk and develop higher-value

credit:


uses for dairy products; b.Promoting business development that diversifies farmer income through processing and marketing innovation; and c.Encouraging the use of regional milk production.

This RFA is to award funding to current initiatives from FY 2022 through 202 5. See section 2. 4 for more information.

These initiatives were competitively selected previously to fulfill the purpose of the program (see section 1.2).

This funding will continue work already started under their previous awards.
