The purpose if the Landscape Scale Restoration competitive grant program is:
“To encourage collaborative, science-based restoration of priority rural forest landscapes.” This program supports, high impact projects that lead to measurable outcomes on the landscape, leverage public and private
credit:
resources, and further priorities identified in each State Forest Action Plan or equivalent restoration strategy.
This request for applications is for projects achieving on-the-ground outcomes across the 20 Northeast and Midwest states:
CT, DE, IA, IL, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, OH, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, WI, WV.
For projects primarily in Western states, see the Western Forestry Leadership Coalition website.
For projects primarily in Southern states, see the USDA Forest Service Southern Region website.
Projects with outcomes in states across these regions are allowed.
