As noted in the original announcement, “FMCSA will initially consider funding for applications submitted on or before September 15, 200 9. After each of those applications has been reviewed and funding awarded, applications submitted thereafter will be considered on a case-by-case basis, if any HP

funding remains available.” At this time, approximately $2 million of FY 2010 High Priority grant funds have not yet been awarded, and are hereby announced for competitive application.

The closing date for application submission is July 1, 2010; selection and award are tentatively scheduled for August 15, 201 0. Upon award, these funds will remain available for expenditure through September 30, 201 1.
