Evaluating Vegetation Growth Model with In Situ Experiments

Objectives of this work include designing mesocosm experiments with the ability to manipulate flooding and nutrient levels.

Project will be used to collect data on plant growth and development (above and belowground productivity).

Data collected will be used to evaluate model parameters


and biomass partitioning outputs.

Experiments will include varying plant species grown together to include native and non-native plant species to explore effects of competition on growth.
