Department of Transportation (DOT) Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) hereby requests applications from non-profit institutions of higher education for CAAP funding to research innovative solutions to pipeline corrosion and other known pipeline integrity challenges.

Each Award recipient must be a U.S.-based not-for-profit institution or organization.
For the purpose of this solicitation, not-for-profit organizations include universities and state and local governments.
Eligible applicants may be consortia of non-profit institutions.
Existing MEP manufacturing extension centers are eligible.
