Poison Control Program - Guidelines for the Management of Poisonings Cooperative Agreement

The overarching goal of the Healthcare Systems Bureau Poison Control Program is to improve access to quality poison control treatment and prevention services for residents of the United States and its territories.

Program funds will be dispersed in a competitive grants process for approximately

credit:


$200,000 to support the development of guidelines for the treatment of patients following exposures to toxic substances.

Awards under this program are limited to U. S. poison control centers (PCCs) that are certified (or granted a waiver) by the American Association of Poison Control Centers and other professional organizations in the field of poison prevention and/or control.
