Graduate Psychology Education Program

The purpose of this program is to train doctoral health service psychology students, interns, and post-doctoral residents in integrated, interdisciplinary behavioral health for placement into community-based primary care settings in high need and high demand areas.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligible entities are APA-accredited doctoral, internship, and post-doctoral residency programs of health service psychology (including clinical psychology, counseling, and school psychology) and Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS)-accredited doctoral level schools of psychology.

Note: Individuals are not eligible to apply under this NOFO.

In addition to the fifty (50) states, eligible entities include the District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, the U. S. Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.

Domestic faith-based and community-based organizations, and tribal organizations are also eligible to apply, if otherwise eligible.

Current GPE award recipients whose grants are scheduled to end on August 31, 2022 are eligible to apply for this funding opportunity and should apply as “Competing Continuations.” All other applicants should apply as “New.” If funded, for-profit organizations are prohibited from earning profit from the federal award (45 CFR part 75.216(b)).
