Shenandoah Valley Battlefields National Historic District

This is NOT a request for applications; this is an announcement that an award has already been designated for The Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation for their work on preserving, conserving, and interpretting the legacy of the Civil War in the Shenandoah Valley.

To that end, SVBF agrees

to:
1. Use funds made available under this agreement for the purposes of management operations to support the District in a manner consistent with the Legislation.

2. Coordinate with units of local government, regional planning organizations, and nonprofit organizations.

3. Encourage, by appropriate means, economic viability that is consistent with the purposes of the District.

4. Comply with all applicable State and Federal laws, including, but not limited to, the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act.
