16 USC 1723 (c), Public LandsCorps, authorizes the Secretary to enter into contracts and cooperativeagreements with any qualified youth or conservation corps to performappropriate conservation projects referred to in subsection (d) of section172 3. The Secretary may also authorize appropriate conservation projects andother appropriate projects to be carried out on Federal, State, Local, orprivate lands as part of disaster prevention or relief efforts in response toand emergency or major disaster declared by the President under the Robert T.Stafford Disaster Relief and EmergencyAssistance Act (42 U.S.C.
5121 et seq.).
Unless otherwise specifiedherein, all terms and conditions as stated in the master cooperative agreementwill apply to this task agreement.
Project Goals – Support or stimulate work and/or education and training opportunities for young adults through collaborative participation in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve’s Division of Facility Maintenance.
Project Objectives – Develop the intern’s technical skills to successful work on a facilities management project.
Allow the interns to apply skills learned to a trail maintenance project

Additional Information of Eligibility:
--The applicant can be either a rural or urban nonprofit entity that will provide services through a telehealth network (TNGP-TH) or a telehomecare network (TNGP-THC).
For purposes of this guidance, a public entity is considered as a non-profit entity.
Proof of non-profit status must be included with the application.
--Each entity participating in the networks may be a nonprofit or for-profit entity.
--Faith-based and community based organizations are eligible to apply.
-- Tribes and tribal organizations are eligible to apply for these grants.
