The objective of this Agreement is to have Syracuse University continue to collaborate with the Bison Ecology and Management team to study bison grazing dynamics throughout the park and to periodically come to Yellowstone to help train Yellowstone staff and to assist in collecting plant production data.

The plant samples collected by the BEMO team will subsequently be shipped to the University for Laboratory Analysis.

Syracuse will complete the lab work and share the results with the Bison Ecology team and collaborate in the interpretation of the results.

Under this Agreement NPS scientists and investigators at SU will collaborate to sample and estimate plant production and consumption throughout the range of distribution for Yellowstone bison.
