This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award financial assistance for the following project activities.
Original Notice of Intent NOIP16AC0037 1. This is a continuation of a current cooperative agreement with Prairie Wildlife Research to increase the award amount.
Continue survey work and natural resource preservation including vaccination of black-footed ferret, which allows for wildlife monitoring and preservation that expands beyond the park's boundary and benefits this resource on a regional scale.
The surveys are in the Conata Basin/Badlands Black-footed Ferret Experimental Population Area as part of an ongoing black-ferret monitoring and protection from plague.
