OJJDP’s Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws Discretionary Program:
Initiative To Reduce Underage Drinking seeks to reduce the availability of alcoholic beverages to and the consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons serving in the U. S. Air Force who are younger than 21 years old.

The

credit:


initiative will provide funds to local civilian communities to implement research-based and promising practices to enforce underage drinking laws and prevent underage service personnel from consuming alcohol in collaboration with active duty bases implementing the underage component of the Air Force’s Culture of Responsible Choices program.

This program is authorized by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act of 1974, as amended and the Department of Justice Appropriations Act, 2009, Pub.

Applicants are limited to state agencies presently designated for administration of the EUDL Block Grants Program, including those with active EUDL Discretionary Program grants.

A list of the eligible state agencies is available at http://www.udetc.org.

States that are currently implementing a EUDL/Air Force partnership award (viz., Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Montana) are ineligible and should not apply.
