RMYC Interns working directly with a Wilderness Trail Crew

(1) The objective of this Task Agreement is to support and stimulate work and/or education and training opportunities for young adults through collaborative participation in gaining backcountry resource management skills in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Work will address deferred maintenance


and resource protection and include work on deteriorated log causeways, trail drainage and erosion control systems, and re-establishing the required trail corridor width.

Project will include an educational component for the TCN students including exposure to park experts involved with resource preservation and stewardship, visitor management and protection, facility management, interpretation and park administration.
