Interactive Analytics for Natural & Cultural Resource Management

This project creates an easily accessible way for the public to access information and research about natural and cultural resources at Congaree National Park.

Research has taken place in Congaree National Park but it is not in a readily accessible and searchable format that allows the public

(government entities as well as private citizens) to see where the research has occurred and what the results are.

This project will present existing research information in a easily searchable database with an accompanying map that shows exactly where the research occurred.

This work represents the second phase of a two phased project.

Phase I was completed in 2014 by an NPS pathways intern and created a basic framework.

Phase II will further extend the existing database and develop online options for park staff, researchers, and partners to access the data.
