Online Exhibit of Historical Materials from Dry Tortugas National Park

The goal of this project is to create an expandable online exhibit about the history of Fort Jefferson in Dry Tortugas National Park using material from the park archive and from the National Archives in Washington, DC, obtained by the park curator.

The online exhibit will narrate the history


of Fort Jefferson during its construction in the mid- and late-1800s and provide public access to previously inaccessible photographs and documents.
