FY 2016 Announcement of Availability of Funds for a Project to Develop Patient Reported Outcome Performance Measures for Contraceptive Services

The primary objective of this FOA is to develop a patient-reported outcome performance measure (PRO-PM) for contraceptive services, in a manner in which it may be submitted to the National Quality Forum (NQF) for endorsement.

The use of clinical performance measures in the context of broader

credit:


quality improvement processes has been shown to improve the quality of care.[1] The Triple Aim has highlighted the importance of using quality improvement to monitor and drive improvements in health outcomes, client experience and cost savings.[3] This effort focuses on filling a critical gap in performance measures, i.e., the need for validated measures of client experience with contraceptive services.
