Brown County Commissioners Apply for a Grant

Agency - Department of Tourism and State Development

The Brown County commissioners decided to apply for a grant that will fund a welding and blueprint reading program which will benefit the area.


They will be applying for a $164,500 grant from the state Department of Tourism and State Development on behalf of the Northeast Work and Technical Education Center. The grant will provide workforce training in partnership with Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown and Mitchell Technical Institute.
