Marist Youth Care Gets Government Grant for Indigenous Youth Program

Marist Youth Care at Blacktown in greater western Sydney was awarded a $474,000 grant by the federal government for its Daramu Program for Indigenous Youth program.

The grant funding is part of the federal government's $120 million allocation for providing legal assistance for indigenous people. Assistance includes prevention and diversion programs for those at risk of offending, and on projects intended for lowering re-offending rates.
