Glastonbury Lands $300,000 Grant For Security Improvements
Glastonbury school system received a state grant to help cover the expenses for security upgrades.
The $300,000 gleaned from the Gun Violence Prevention and Children's Safety Act will be used toward the $770,000 cost of security improvements performed at the schools. More than a hundred school systems and schools received $21 million in state funding as part of the school security grant program.
