Agency - Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention Resources

The Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Prevention Resources announced grants for almost two dozen Wisconsin counties totaling $6.6 million dollars in federal funds which will help promote various aspects of public health.


The grant was announced Tuesday as part of a larger campaign called "Transform Wisconsin". The funding will also help local wellness programs provide fresh fruits and vegetables to school cafeterias and promote smoke-free apartment buildings.

The Republic of Rwanda has been picked as one of the six African countries as beneficiaries for a new fellowship fund program designed at supporting social entrepreneurs in tackling issues on food security.
