USAID Counter Trafficking in Persons

This RFI is for market research purposes, to better understand capabilities of eligible local Nepali organizations.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Nepal is in the process of gathering information to support an anticipated activity design “USAID Counter


Trafficking in Persons”.

The purpose of this anticipated activity is to build on the current counter trafficking in persons (CTIP) program’s Government of Nepal (GON), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and private sectors stakeholder partnerships to prevent trafficking, protect victims, and to prosecute trafficking cases in vulnerable geographies in terms of source, transit and destination in alignment with the federal context of Nepal.

The anticipated activity aims to strengthen the GON and justice sector actors’ capacity in implementing prevention, protection, prosecution related activities through expanding the partnership among relevant stakeholders.
