Estimated total amount of the agreement is $300,00 1. 00 for Fiscal Year 201 7. The purpose of this project is to restore habitat and scenic conditions on the State-owned property by improving water quality discharge to the Upper Truckee River and Lake Tahoe by reestablishing hydrologic processes, removing various disturbances, and revegetating unstable areas.

The principal objectives of the project are to:
(1) Restore natural and self-sustaining river and floodplain processes and functions; (2) Protect, enhance, and restore approximately 3. 9 acres of stream environment zone habitats; (3) Restore and enhance 900+ feet of stream channel for fish and wildlife; (4) Improve water quality discharging to the Upper Truckee River and Lake Tahoe through enhancement of natural, physical and biological processes.
