The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none).
CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $2,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.
This NOFO will support the following strategies:
Strategy 1. Partnerships and Governance:
Collaboration for
harmonized and integrated annual health work plans, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans, economic analyses, management of US government (USG) and other donor funds, health information and laboratory systems that strengthen HIV, TB, other reportable infectious and non-infectious diseases that impact people living with HIV (PLHIV) and populations affected by HIV and TB.
Strategy 2. Ensure HIV and TB service delivery:
Strengthening capacity to perform public health functions to achieve HIV and TB epidemic control in KCCA and its metropolitan area.
The recipient will strengthen collaboration between the public and private sector.
Strategy 3. Integration of HIV and TB with other diseases :
Interventions to protect PLHIV and persons affected by HIV and TB from epidemics through activities including outbreak detection, investigation, and response, strengthening laboratory systems, surveillance for priority diseases and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection and control.
Strategy 4. Health information systems integration for surveillance, M&E, and laboratory systems strengthening:
Supporting surveillance and laboratory monitoring systems for HIV and TB, and other disease priorities; and building epidemiologic capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to disease threats through analysis of routine data and special surveys.
